St. Anthony’s Falls Bridge

Minnesota, USA

Project Summary:

The use of technologically advanced LED products almost entirely eliminates the maintenance costs associated with lamp replacement: costs that could be particularly high for this type of installation.

For proper lighting of all 10 lanes of the bridge (5 per direction), 16 Ledway Street featuring QV symmetric optics were installed along the central axis (two devices for each light fixtures assembled at 180°); lighting at the entrance and exit of the bridge is supplied by 4 Ledway Street devices featuring PR asymmetric optics. All luminaires have 10 LED modules for a total of 200 LEDs per device.

Long Life:

The Edge Street fixtures have a useful life that is 5 times superior to that of the High Pressure Sodium 250 W fixtures originally envisaged for the project.
