Choosing the right luminaire makes all the difference when it comes to the urban illumination of a city using LED technology. THE REVITALIZATION PROJECT
The project was born from the need to replace the old lighting system with more technologically advanced solutions. With the goal to keep the interest in the coastline alive all year long, and to give citizens an extra reason to safely enjoy a beautiful public space, the Municipality of Latina chose Cree Lighting products in order to revitalize the entire Capo Portiere area, which surrounds Piazzale Loffredo and has become a point of attraction and contact for citizens.
In order to create more pleasant spaces both during the day and at night, Cree Lighting’s lighting experts designed a tailor-made lighting solution utilizing the best products of our urban range.
SYRIUS is the first luminaire which features indirect LED lighting with CCT 2700 and efficacy up to 130lm/W, boasting enhanced visual comfort with reduced glare and high color contrast leading to improved overall illumination using less energy. Moreover, Syrius is a product approved by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA).
The concept behind Syrius is to offer a new sustainable approach to urban lighting, through the revolutionary optical technology WaveMax®, which gives an unpreceded visual comfort.
