Project Summary
DUTRADE Steels Product Processing and Trading Co. (DUTRADE ZRT) is a Hungarian steel producer with a long tradition, and a member of the ISD DUNAFERR Group.
DUTRADE ZRT has been running a domestic steel distribution network of ISD DUNAFERR ZRT since 1992. The first Steel Service Center in Hungary was established by its own investment.
At the Dutrade Zrt site in Budapest, the lighting fixtures operate under heavy industrial conditions. In addition to the enormous ceiling height in the warehouse, a crane track made planning and construction difficult.
Long-time Cree Lighting partner LED Fényforrás Kft was entrusted with the preparation of lighting plans along with the selection and purchase of lighting fixtures.
One of the huge advantages of LED lighting fixtures is that the emitted light can be focused very well and made efficient with optics, which of course increases the initial purchase costs compared to commercial lighting fixtures without optics, but this disadvantage quickly diminishes when performance, light quality, and energy savings are taken into account.
A challenge LED Fényforrás Kft had to overcome during the project was that the lighting fixtures could only be mounted on the beams, since there were no suitable suspension points between the beams. The goal was to reach a value higher than the minimum average illumination of 100 lux required by the standard (150-200 lux). The high ceiling height (15m) made it reasonable to calculate with lighting fixtures with a narrow radiation angle.
During the development of the different versions, it was made sure that the Cree Lighting Stellar 200W hall light with an illuminance angle of 60 degrees (with IP65 protection) meets the expectations.
