Project Summary
Aktív Park is a recreational and adventure park for all ages, located in the 17th district of Budapest. The 11,000m2 center offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including a 3,500m2 go-kart track, games room, conference room, bistro and laser battlefield.
In 2019, LED Fényforrás Ltd. was commissioned to design the lighting in two key areas of the center, the outdoor gokart track and the playhouse.
Designing adequate lighting for large areas that serve specific purposes and have distinct needs is always a challenging task compared to lighting design for enclosed spaces.
To illuminate centers of this magnitude, special criteria must be applied in order to prevent the dispersion of light upwards and outside the indicated areas; at the same time it is necessary to ensure an adequate level of lighting and take into account the pre-existence of the poles for the installation of the new fixtures: For all these reasons, LED Fényforrás Ltd., Cree Lighting's authorized distributor in Hungary, has chosen to supply the CFL LARGE model (which goes up to 250W offering up to 36000lm) of Cree Lighting's line of CFL reflectors, which offer high lighting performance that maximizes energy savings and restores extremely uniform light quality and light distribution.
In addition, thanks to the adjustable bracket it was possible to reuse the poles already installed since the luminaires can be adjusted without tools at 10° intervals with a graduated scale that helps to adjust the lighting by making aiming precisely.
