The Castevetro project is a true pilot project, which given the thorough instrumental planning required, can be successfully replicated for future shopping centre installations and achieve the same results in terms of energy–saving and cost optimisation.
he project involved the installation of LED fixtures to illuminate the car park of the new COOP shopping centre in Castelvetro and the perimeter areas for the loading and unloading of goods. All fixtures installed were fitted with asymmetric street optic type PR.
27 THE Edge Street fixtures with 60 LED were pole-mounted in the car park and the access roads at a height of 6 m. 10 THE Edge Wall with 40 LED fixtures were installed in the perimeter and goods loading/unloading area at a height of 4.4 m. Ledway Wall fixtures with 60 LED were used for car park ramp areas.
In the car park the average lux at ground level is 25 lux, general uniformity Uo = 0.45.
In the access roads the average lux is 0.9 cd/m2, general uniformity Uo = 0.55.
